As background information, my nephew has been studying Dutch and backgammon with me. For language study we recently went over verbs, one of them is that go = ga. For backgammon we have been going over match play considerations.

I was playing through a match from a book and playing it on both a physical board and also XG. I like to put a marker of some sort on each side to put me in the mindset of playing both sides and thinking of perspective for both players. If I don't do that, I sometimes focus strategically on just one side. What I had readily available today was a couple pieces of fruit so I used them.

When the match got to 2a 1a C I asked my nephew which side he was rooting for and to give a strategic consideration. He replied "gamango".
