We're still way behind in the race after this gift. Hang back to maintain contact while hitting, or make the 8 to hem her in?

Tough call, but 14/2* 9/3(2) looks like the bolder play in a situation that seems to call for bold play. Things can go south either way, but hanging on to the anchor seems to preserve more equity if the dice start singing Dixie. Which may make it the less bold play, but I'm making it anyway.

13 in the zone, the best four point board, a man on the roof, and a decent anchor. 14/2* 9/3(2)
