To activate Gammons I would double and I would take as well.

Positions where Jacoby makes it correct to double to activate gammons are as rare as hen's teeth. I doubt this is one of them.

I almost never play with Jacoby so I simply ignore it unless I'm on roll and the position is TG without it.
