I was somewhat torn OtB and hit the hint button after deciding. The hint button said making the bar is correct (3 ply). I thought buying some time with two in the air and a four point board was the way to go to connect/escape those back checkers from behind the solid 4 prime. Rollout slaps 3 ply pretty hard.
