Seems like you did very well with your timing of the doubles.

I wonder if racing oriented plays are better or worse? I don't know. I was thinking, if they are weaker, and take late, you don't want blitz or attacking cubes that go bad just due to the dice. But maybe that's wrong. He may take something crazy from the bar. I do tend to make positional plays instead of attacks but only slightly.

Not something I've ever worried about, I'm not strong enough, I just try to play my best.

The one adjustment I make is if I think it's a play on I cube anyway, and they take, and I'm happy.

I wonder what strong players do against me to adjust to my 'prove it' takes? Heh. Pretty sure they just thread the needle maybe using a bit of a fish match equity table adjustment. I've had it done against me quite clearly by a very strong player, one of the elite, in an online tournament, and afterwards via email he pretended he had made a bunch of errors since the bot dinged him on many racing oriented cubes. I had won, but I told him I knew OTB what he was doing and it made sense and I wasn't offended. Funny thing was I was using a fish MET idea in my head too. Our error rate came out almost even but many of his 'missed' cubes were on purpose and with a fish MET were pretty good.
