Clearing the seven is the "obvious" play. 6/4 or 5/3 give an additional builder to cover the blot, but at the risk of extra gammon losses due to the second blot (which can't be hit immediately, but could be in a few rolls)

Closing the board instead of lifting should win more gammmons, so that argues against clearing. AtS and with the cube where it is, gammons on either side are not as valuable as usual, so maybe all the analysis re gammons is for naught.

I'll go with the idea that we can recover from one back but will have a harder time with two back, regardless of gammons, so I'll clear.

Don't think there's a lot of equity at stake here.
