Bar/22 is forced and 24/21 seems just about forced. Then I like 13/10(2) allowing natural board-building as the backgame rolls on. What I don't like about making the 4 point: First is the danger of Oppo staying out, especially since it's with the big rolls that we'd rather they have to play. Second is that if we have to split up our midpoint, Oppo might pick up both checkers and leave us with a split-up game right on the border of crashing. I might like the 4 point if we had any chance at all of winning going forward, but against that five point prime, naah not really.

I remember Abbas Zaltash saying that the 4+3 backgame is underrated, and I believe he's right. Works for me here...let's see if Oppo can clear all those points without leaving us double shots!
