Thanks for pointing out that Kenji did in fact nod before Jörgen stopped the clock! That changes everything and noone can blame Jörgen for stopping the clock after getting the permission to do so from his opponent.

I missed this important detail, and I believe, so did most others who watched the stream.

The only remaining question for me is whether or not it is actually written in the rules that you cannot forfeit your turn by hitting the clock before the dice have settled. I don't believe I have seen it. Even if it is not written in the rules everybody seems to believe it is clearly a rules violation to hit the clock before the dice have settled.
