Correct cube action after the best move in the original position is : White doubles and Blue takes. Then if White fans, Blue redoubles and it's a pass.

At the end of the war, the equity will be the same as with the fainthearted move.

In variant 1 : the lack of some return hits from the bar makes the safe move better

In variant 2 : same cube action sequence as in original position if Blue selects the bold move.
