One question I haven’t seen discussed with all of these new bots is the future of PR. IMO PR gets too much attention. But still it’s used for BMAB titles, UBC, tournament eligibility, etc (and I notice even I as a PR detractor seem to still know most ABT regulars’ PRs within maybe a tenth of a point or two). But obviously it’s specific to XG, and even if the other bots are relatively close in skill level, it could cause some confusion to need to specify whether you’re reporting an XG PR vs a Sage PR or a HedgeHog PR (OpenGammon’s new bot that claims to beat XG by 0.06 ppg, which is close to a whole PR point).
