OT, but - It's a shame that mechanical dice with clocked matches seems to be so klunky in backgammon. And some players moving checkers to and fro multiple times, leading to confusion and sometimes incorrect positions not seen. Playing with both hands, grabbing dice up before the clock is hit by the other player.

Annoying as hell, sometimes..., not with most players I guess.

Most of it can be cleaned up by sportsmanship, because you don't see nearly as much early dice grabs or a half dozen confusing checker repositions from the players known to be considerate of others.

Should be played on touchpads with both players and spectators seeing the same computer screen. :D
