24/22 looks natural enough, but when you pause and look at the whole situation you'll see that White is under pressure to find a good roll and that after 13/11 White's 64 plays much worse and he also has no attack on the 22 pt blot with his poor 3's 4's 5's.

13/11 is TMP, but it is not a major issue since next turn White just breaks the 11 pt if he doesn't like what he rolls.

13/11 is now clear to me, noting that sometimes thinking like a chess player and looking a bit ahead may produce better results than relying on general principles or rote memory.

I felt you 11 decision was much closer than the rollout, and most likely would have made the same missplay.
