One tip that helped me recently, either from here or maybe reddit, someone said to think about what rolls I would like to get. So I don't miss the play as often when I do get the roll. Seems silly but it helped me. I had a number of blunderous matches recently from just missing plays. Now I am focused on 'if he plays this' I want XX, 'but if he plays this I need XX" . Not sure but it helped my focus.

I play a bit worse against the bots. I take too deep figuring they don't miss cubes. I rush. I try stuff just to see how it plays out. So if I want to see where my PR stands I sort of prefer to play people. More relaxing. Playing things out isn't all bad though, the bot teaches me why that was a bad move, or a drop... :)

I have slowed down. I play worse on 1 min / 8 seconds than I do on 1 min 10 seconds. So that's what I invite with now. Funny how 2 seconds per move matters.
