Since most of your games are online at Daily Gammon, the clock should not be an issue.

I asked a similar question awhile back and, among others, got this terrific response.

All of this applies, but as to slowing down your play a bit, look specifically at 0) and 2)

They are worth practicing.

And elsewhere someone said to spend more time learning than playing. I've been trying to apply that lately - sometimes even successfully - and have found I've slowed my play.
