First of all: mamabear, Open Wheel, Bob, Chuck, Elizabeth, Jason, many thanks!

Some actionable points I will work on from today:

- Be mindful of the match score before the first roll of the game.
- While rolling the dice, make a mental note of which combinations would benefit me (not to miss jokers).
- Deliberately slow down when the cube is turned, or at an "intersection point" where you need to think whether it is correct or not to switch game plans.
- Evaluate at least an alternative move before picking up the dice.
- Aim to use a good chunk of my time (at least more than half, but hopefully more) every match I play. If I have time to think, I will use it!

I have not yet checked Chuck's suggested books, but from what I can read from the table of contents, they will help too.

Let me take a few words to thank you again: each one of your messages was written with care (not just a few lines of trite common sense), and was thought provoking and in one word was useful to me. It is nice to feel the support of the community.

A note in my PR. Last 100 matches (avg. length 6.5 points): 7.9 PR according to GNUbg.
