Options for Blue: make the 5, make the 20+9, make the 16, make the 2+9, plus some more.

I do not think burying chequers by making a point behind White's anchor is savvy. I do not like making the 9 point either, Blue is not priming White.

Let Blue occupy the 5-point. The asset is permanent and quite useful during bear-in. A pity we forego the 20-point, but White attack is not threatening.
