Is handling opponent's checkers to help you count the race allowed?

For example, 5:46:30 at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SiX3PslNRE

It makes the opponent need to pay attention to if those checkers will be adjusted incorrectly and also is blocking their view of the board. If not illegal, I think it should be.

If it depends on a particular rule set, please specify which you are using for your answer.
