I run here.

It feels a little odd not to build a good inside point when we can do it cleanly, but we're reasonably likely to have a bunch of good building rolls again next turn. The fly shots we leave mostly duplicate good point-making numbers for White. They will prefer to hit with those rolls, so we're not getting the Full Duplication Discount, but it does reduce the relative risk of leaving those shots.

mamabear's point about the rather stiff position we're left with after the building play is also important. Making the four point is playing catch-up; we're building the same kind of position White has, but we're significantly behind. White will be on roll, and already has builders for more points, while we are stripped and stacked. Better to counter in a different way if we can.
