The go-home play where we pick up 3/2 leaves a hideous position, with a triple gap, an isolated back man, and an additional dead checker. The go-big play of 6/5* risks immediate horror hit/fan sequences, but works big time when it works. His 9 stay-out rolls leave us with an excellent start for a blitz, and even his anchoring on the 4 point but with the other checker still in the air give us a pretty good game if we can cover at least one of our homeboard blots on the next turn, then start Hoovering up the rest of Oppo's blots. Big enough for me... bar/21* 6/5*
