Big doubles allow us to skate past white and maybe even win a gammon. Otherwise, we usually face a double shot since white enters ~75% of the time.

If we're not hit, we've lost our market and if we are hit we're still in the game so it looks like a cube. The question is whether we've already lost our market.

75% to enter, 50% to hit, maybe 70% to win after a hit gives about 26%. A few other ways to win (9s, 10s, and 11s expose a direct shot) but they're offset by the gammon losses. And with 13 transitions for white to save gammons I'm seeing more than a few but not enough to make it TG.

So, R/P for me, although I'm not sure about the take decision.
