Blue needs a 6, White needs a 4. If this could go on for several rolls, Blue would be a 3/2 fav. However Blue has only 2-3 rolls to get a 6 or his board will start crunching. 6s average over 10 pips so the non-6s average about 7 pips. Blue's checker on the 17 gives 16 pips of timing, so a little over 2 rolls. Another thing to notice is that all 6s are good for Blue while White's 42 and 41 are clearly weaker than the other 4s. It must be a recube per the Woolsey rule. You'll get lots of drops because of the gammon threat. I do think White can take though. White is doing well when he rolls a good 4 before Blue rolls a 6. White is also a clear fav when both fail to roll their needed 6s/4s for several turns since Blue will weaken his board. White's chances are reasonable if he gets a 42 or 41 before Blue gets a 6. One other angle where White has a reasonable game is when Blue rolls a 6 (not D6) But White then rolls an immediate 4. Looks like enough to take.
