No offense to Sam Pottle, but I think the benefits of 13/7 14/11 override his famous law here. Oppo isn't committed yet to his ace-deuce backgame, and the sooner we can start closing it in by making good inner board points, the better. He's got only six in the Zone, so I'm not too scared that Junior will soon be blocked in and unable to run later. I also don't like giving Oppo hit-and-cover options such as 23, 35, 26 etc. if we run.

13/7 14/11 for this bear.
