My rough rule of thumb is that three checkers stuck behind a prime means play on for gammon. Is this an exception?

I think so. White's board is very strong and is not in danger of crunching soon. Meanwhile, we've got a big stack on the deuce, a gap, and stripped points. Looks like we cough up a shot often enough to cash this now.

But is it a cash? See the paragraph above, so I'm not sure. I'd pass due to the gammons, but it might be a take. Definitely ship it since some will muff the take decision. I'm passing.
