Blue could hit on the 1-point or the 3-point. Or both. Or neither. If hitting, one must keep in mind White's 4 point board. Still, there is the saying "two on the bar is better by far". I'm going to ignore the both and neither. If either of those is the best play, then I'll learn something. Again.

So. Hitting on the three leads to wanting to safety the remaining blot on the 2-point. And why would now having 4 checkers on the 2-point be useful? I keep looking at that extra checker on Blue's 2-point. What the heck is it good for if not for hitting? And then what to move with the 2? If hitting and therefore putting 2 on the bar, the lone checker on the 7 is safe for another turn. But we'll need some help for that blot on the 1-point and moving off the 11 toward home seems right.
