Blue has a backgame without timing (alternatively, an ace-point game with reasonable timing), higher points made in his homeboard (bad for the backgame), and owns the cube. White has a good position and little trouble bearing in.

I do not think anything fancy like 3/2* and then 10/7 will do. We made the 1-point, do not want to bury more chequers.

10/6 slots an important point. If we do not get it we make it and then the plan to escape from the 22 and play a viable ace-point game. If we do get hit, we gain some timing for backgame proper.

What would 3/2(2)* lead to? If White dances, most likely crunching our board.
