Ugh! Sometimes double 1s are exactly what is needed, but not in this position.

I have no clue what would be the best move. Is hitting right? Usually is, but with which? 3/2 means Blue has at least 4 checkers behind whatever White comes out with, and 4/2 is even worse. Or so it feels.

It's hard to imagine some sort of hitting isn't right, but I'm not going to do it, and take my lumps. It's always possible I'll get thumped often enough for something to stick.
