So White will be trying to hold Blue's straggler by making his own board. White can't make 6, but can tie Blue up and possible hits on either the 22 or the 15 making things awkward for Blue to maintain the prime.

My first inclination was 15/3 8/4, but I have another idea, which I hope is better. We'll see.

Mary Hickey's "What's Your Game Plan?" often refers to timing and I'm very slow to understand, but perhaps this position is an application. Blue should hit on the 2-point while still leaving a 4-point prime. This slows White down, perhaps long enough for Blue to escape and come around.
