Yeah it often isn't perfect

I've spent about several nearly week long periods in Denmark and Danish seems to be a very difficult language for me. At best, if someone tells me how much to pay for my stuff in Danish, I can pull out a larger bill and let them make change. Whereas after my first day in Italy, 18 summers ago, I was picking up the language and able to understand how much to pay, and soon able to order from a non English menu, etc. However, I've studied Spanish and French so that helps with Italian and also Portugese. However, I can only barely claim fluency in English :), and wish my French was as good as Stick's.

But in spite of that, the google translation of Danish BG stuff is almost always good enough for me to figure out what is meant. BG terms are similar or the same in many languages and I can figure the rest out from the context.
