Norway or Sweden?

There are strong players in both countries. Norway has one former world champion (Giant #53 Jon Kristian Røyset) and Sweden has two (Giant #23 Jörgen Granstedt and Giant #46 Jerry Grandell. My impression, though, is that overall the backgammon scene is more robust in Norway, with more events on the calendar, more active players and a little more depth (Giant #41 Katja, Atle, Tore, Odin, Hans, Sondre, Elias, and anyone else I've left out) among the best of the active players. I'm no expert, though, since I've not been in Sweden or Norway since 2003 and am more familiar with the Norwegian players than with the Swedes.
