6 rolls vs. 6 rolls = double?

Reasoning: one roll later (5 rolls vs. 5 rolls) it is still a take, so better to wait. Well snowie doubles 6 rolls vs. 6 rolls. In fact, snowie double 7 rolls vs. 7 rolls! What am I not understading?
"One roll later" is not a take whenever you roll doublets and opponent doesn't. Petter B's program's answer is correct: 8 rolls vs. 8 rolls is an initial double. A Gnubg rollout gets slightly different numbers:
Money game. Blue on roll.
