I'd wait in the money game rather than have the power of the cube with my opponent. Gammons on 8 cubes, oh my oh my! But at the match score, at least you don't have that worry so the case for White's double is stronger. I'm not going to say if it's a cube at the score since I don't know and I'd just be guessing. I'd let my doubles pard make that call!
