Well, 8/2 is the easy part...

now we have 8/6 or 6/4.

With 8/6 you leave direct 5s and 14. That's 12 shots. With 6/4, you leave direct 1s only, that's 10 shots. So 6/4 appears right here... but if you are missed on the next roll you have to clear the 8 point AND cover the blot on the 4, whereas with 8/6, if you are missed, you have many more rolls that don't leave a blot.

Am I right?
