Pay now or pay later? Pay later move is 8/2 6/1 and pay now move could be 20/15 20/14. Any other play which escape only one checker gives Stick to many chances to attack in his board and also leaves indirects in outfield.

If we pay now and are missed are we home free? Hm, we have flexible position but still have to hard work to bring these checkers home, also white has 61 52 43 62 53 44 64 55 65 total 16 shots which is not bargain. PAY LATER.

If we pay later does our position become worse? I don't think so. After double slot we can cover those blots and get five point board which could be fine. PAY LATER.

Does white's position become stronger if we wait and pay later? It is not clear for me. White will has more freedom to play with his back checkers and preserve his little prime and definitely get better position. PAY NOW.

We are 22 pips ahead in race which is argument for race play and PAY NOW but also blue is ahead in match and have to avoid double edge gammonish positions which arise after pay now move so it is one more argument for PAY LATER.

I don't know 20/15 20/16 looks better for my eye but I vote for wimpy 8/2 6/1 and PAY LATER (It won my vote 3:2).
