I rather enter on the 4 than the 3 point, hopefully making it less difficult to escape the back checker. When ahead, race. (But, of course, the blot is a better target for White on the 4 than the 3.)

Then with the 3, I'll protect our race lead by playing safe with 10/7, rather than making the 10 point but leaving a blot on our mid.
