I haven't been to Alex Bay since 2005, but this is part of why I like staying in the middle of town by the bars and restaurants instead of at the venue. Pine Tree has beautiful views and outdoor spaces which are enjoyable for playing bg... if only the rooms were better. Even in town, the rooms are nothing to brag about and can cost nearly as much. But, thats the market for visiting a scenic tourist trap in high season. I like that the setting is a change of pace from other ABT events, and I hope to make it next year!
