OLM Tues. Aug. 5th

Up front 7/6, keeping spares on all points, looks to be better than 8/7 which strips the 8, and way better than the 6/5 slot which risks throwing away our 1-man-back advantage. In any case, even 7/6 is a small concession.
The alternative 23/22 does not look too bad for next roll, even if it does come up against more builders and onto a more important point. Stick still needs to cover the 4 and cannot attack cleanly at the same time. The main drawbacks of the play are the roll after, when we must assume that Stick has covered. Now, for starters we have *less* jumping rolls from the 22 point (5-1 is an additional jumping roll from 23), also our blocked 6's are harder to play on our side than the blocked 5's from 23. And if we cannot jump - as is likely - now Stick will have his guns aimed at us sitting on his next point in line.
23/22 must be worse than 7/6 and b/23 7/6 is my play.
