16/13 is clearly correct in my opinion, I want you to hit. The main reasons were stated in other posts but I'll resume:

  • You leave an immediate shot
  • You send another checker back which facilitates me making a better second anchor
  • What happens on the upcoming turns when you roll a home board point making number? You have 3 blots scattered in the outfield and with the shape of my offense it's too costly to leave that many indirects. You'll be forced to button up forgoing any new home board points. You'll be forced to roll good numbers after you button up or leave blots.
