Soccer, B-ball (and V-ball?) a bit better

In Response To: Soccer, B-ball (and V-ball?) a bit better (bob koca)

I always thought that in hockey a regulation win should be worth 2, and a win in OT or shootout should be worth 1.5 and an OT loss or shootout should be worth 0.5.

Why should there be three points at stake instead of two just because you tied after regulation?
