I dont analyze the games immediately after playing them, I do tend to start a 2ply analysis a few games in to the session, to check error rates etc. I do admit that its partially my own fault, and really I dont want sympathy. I did recognize that I was playing a very strong player, just by watching the moves. But this was a little bit weird.

I started a brief conversation during play, and my remarks were responded to - clue that its not a bot. Some of the early games were short (6 moves each, followed by DP), and both ER's (mine and his) were 0.0, this is not a surprise when I know I am playing someone strong - another indicator. It was only after a long backgame with a 0.0 ER (I managed a 4.1) that I got really upset that it must have been a bot. This was also 8 or 9 games in, and I was running my analysis on selected games after the fact, so when I ran that one, I got pissed.

Somewhat disappointingly, I have seen this same nic on PG, TMG (I think), BGRoom, and now to find out it must be cheating is annoying as all hell - you would think that someone else would have caught him before me.

I do not 100% discount the possibility that its a real player, but, its hard to swallow. Goddamn though.
