What loses the market here? Making the 4 or 5 point followed by a flunk or lame entry would qualify I think. If that were the whole story I'd already be saying ND...but that misplaced 2 point of his combined with our excellent chances to improve our board, makes me want to reach for the cube, even at this score. Even the sequence (board improvement)/(non-special entry roll) could lose our market in a somewhat gammonish game, we can still use four points. The recubes he gets will in many cases be after a hit from the ace point, meaning we have checkers off (usually) and so at least it won't be a potential 8-gammon-cube.

I do double, but think due to score it's "thinner" than usual.
