What garyo used is not part of nactation nor am I sure where it's documented but is simply understood by spending too much time on bg forums lol
For a great nactation tutorial you should check out: An Introduction to Nactation
As you'll see if I remember correctly without rereading, nactation is meant as an easier way to describe the opening phase of the game. It is very useful to me personally as it allows me to name files and keep them a lot shorter & neater, the same for links on my site, and while discussing plays either on the forums or in emails I'd much rather use something like R instead of 24/14, or N instead of 13/11(2) 6/4(2). You may think it's no big deal to just type it out, but nactation has saved me plenty of time and improved my organization over the year(s).
Nactation isn't meant to be used to transcribe entire games, though if you become fluent enough you may well be able to do it. The stronger the players the easier it is to nactate a game in my opinion and when I transcribed a match the old fashioned way I indeed used nactation as much as possible.
