Thanks for the response Stick and the link. I agree it can certainly make file names and figure captions and the like easier. I think you're right that strong play would make it easier to nactate. E.g. crazy dumb plays might be hard to categorize. I know there's Wild, but if something is really dumb, what would we call it? How about Silly? :-)

IIRC one of the experts sometime in the past month or so posted a question here as to what the proper nactation for a certain play would be and that's what started me to thinking, that if even an expert wasn't sure how to notate it, that it must be at least to some degree imprecise.

I do want to learn it better, I do, I do! So let me ask this, the other day in the online you used 41T for what I assumed was 13/8. (I admit I was too lazy to cross-check against the OLM link). Assuming I was right that 41T was for 13/8 does the T stand for Twice as in moving the checker twice, or for Tower as in stacking up the 8pt. Just curious, thanks!
