The significant duplication is not so significant to me. You leave 3s & 4s to anchor up for your opponent, 4s to hit if they so choose, 62 hits, 53 hits, 61 hits, 52 hits, yada yada yada - to me it's clear that this isn't put there for offense but for recirculation/timing. If it is missed which it generally isn't you'll be using your last spare from the mid to make the 9pt and then have a stripped outfield + 6pt position. Granted, you'll likely be able to push your back checkers around then, I simply don't like the looks of it.

This game already has enough checkers back that I wouldn't want to roll it out with either bot. I'm still playing 24/20.
