In Response To: mental gymnastics over gymnastics (Chuck Bower)

This fiasco is typical of so many like events throughout the world today. My understanding is that the evidence is totally overwhelming that at least three of the girls are under the legal age (calm down, Stick, we're talking the gymnastics legal age here). Unless, of course, two years ago the ChiComs were lying about their ages on the downside so they could compete in junior events. But no one wants to offend, embarrass, or humiliate the poor little Chinese (no pun intended) -- even when they damn well deserve it.

So tempted to rant on about political correctness and politics in the USA but this is supposed to be a backgammon forum. I'll spare you all; however, I am available for debate/discussion with those interested.
