I used to go close to 100 wpm on one of those (IBM Selectric II). Old memories were resurrected, with tears and angst, when young person "co-op student" moved into a nearby cubicle and started typing. The keyboard clicks were so close together in time that they didn't seem discrete. It turned out he was a Dvorak typist and had remapped to that from Qwerty. If wasn't going 130 wpm I'll eat my pocket protector. Real Third Millennium sheeit I gotta deal with now.
