In WSOB 5, Blue hasn't made any inner board points and has 5 checkers on the 6 and 4 on the 8. In the OLM, Blue has already made the 4 (+splitting), has 4 checkers on the 6 and 3 on the 8 (+splitting). He has 10 checkers in the zone instead of 9 (-splitting).

Gary's rollout should not be interpreted as "8/5 6/5 is better than 24/23 6/5 is better than 13/10 6/5." All 3 plays are TCTC.
