Leaving 23 shots, hitting just cannot be correct. I prefer 24/18 7/5 over 13/5 even though white will probably not want to hit with most 3s after 13/5. I just have to try to escape my back checkers now, while my opponent has not yet made his board. Leaving a tripple shot is not really that severe since there will be many leathal returns. Important is the outfield control I gain. White might have to make an otherwise inferior move in order to play save.
