I need eight 1's to do everything I want in this position! After bar/24(2), which have priority? I think blue has to hit on the five. If not, only hitting on the outfield blots allows white the chance to anchor on the five. After playing 6/5*, blue can hit another one and leave a home board blot, or make the five with another 6/5. I think it's clear to make the five, I do not - I repeat: NOT - want more checkers sent behind white's prime. In fact, after 6/5*(2) blue has a fair prime of his own.
