Although you played five aces you learned me something. Timing reservoir. Sounds logical. Usually in backgammon we like to hit opponents checkers on his side of the board which to gain most in race but here in priming battles timing is everything. Player who crunched first lost. The same could be use in backgames which if played correctly as two-way game can transform in prime battle also if try to win frontward in some moment. But here you choice could be between 11/10* and 16/15* after b/24(2) 6/5*. I think 16/15* is better because it duplicate White's 5s and play with only two blots compare with four after 11/10 among additional pluses and minuses which are somewhat difficult to measure (more duplication and diversification of aces, sixes).
