Prior to starting it I did give the move a lot of thought because it seemed interesting. I noted in another post the sheer ugliness of the stacking play but admitted it "may be right". I would not have played 13/7 11/6. When I feel the plays are close I'm apt to make a play that doesn't make my stomach turn and may complicate things more, which either of the other plays would IMO.

24/13 just felt right to me ... which I'd have a hard time defending to a doubles partner. It may still not be the correct play as the rollout isn't quite to stat. sign. yet but it builds on a theme of the 1970s play ... lure them off that anchor! Quite a flawed concept as we know but here it has some merit. White can't do everything at once and the most likely scenario is that White his one of the two checkers and in doing this passes on making any inner board points and leaves one guy behind to fight it out. At that point Blue will try relentlessly to attack, and if it fails be able to fall back into some sort of holding game.

Another thing is the score may swing this play here, but I'm more interested in how to play 'in general' than if the score makes a difference on this type of play, thus I used Snowie money play to roll it out. Since you're so far behind in the match the top play still semi-counterintuitively wins the most gammons probably because of the "lure off the anchorness" of it.

Lastly, if it was Monte Carlo or the PGM or something of that sort, I would have played the weenie play realizing of all the plays it's most likely to be either correct, or wrong by the smallest amount.
